Change is Coming!

Our home of two years - Bubba's Country Store is up for sale.  It was inevitable with humongo Texaco next door.  That means we need to find a new and nearby place to park and operate.  We have moved down the road temporarily and hope to have some news soon of what our future holds!

End of the Season

Well, that went by fast!!!  We appreciate your patience the last few days when we've had to close a little early.  We had some scheduling issues so our family covered shifts where we could -  I hope everyone that wanted to, got to come by.  We love seeing you and serving you.  For those with Morgan's Deals, they are good for next summer, too!  Bubba's Country Store (where we park ourselves) is for sale, so we may be in the same spot next year or we may be somewhere else close by, but we will keep everyone updated as we find out any news.  We hope everyone has a great school year!  See you soon...

3 Weeks Left!

Is summer almost over?  Hard to believe!  We appreciate all who have visited us so far and hope you continue to until the season is over.  We have cut our weekly hours back a bit as summer winds down and people gear up for school, so make sure to check out the hours before heading our way.  We also encourage you to support Bubba's Country Store who has been nothing but kind to Blizzy's since Day 1.  Unfortunately, new big business next door in the form of a fancy Texaco/store/restaurant is hard to compete with:(        

Meridian 4th of July Parade

It was a hit! We sold almost 200 sno cones in less than an hour! The line went on forever. Thanks to all who came out. We had a blast!

4th of July and More...

We are doing our first ever special "event" and hopefully, it won't be our last!  If you or yours have an event you'd like catered with shaved ice, contact us and we can do it!  It's not always feasible to move our mobile unit, but we can for sure bring everything we need and set up to serve.  We will be closed on July 4th this year, but we will be at the Meridian 4th of July Parade, so come see us there.  We will be serving red, white, and blue sno cones, of course!

On a side note, we have recently signed up to work with Morgan's Deals (same concept as Groupon), so look for us there and purchase your deal soon...10 smalls for $10!!!

I'm not gonna lie, friends. It's been slow this past week! I know we don't have record breaking heat - yet, but it's still summer and summer deserves sno cones! We have such friendly staff waiting to serve you, and we have new flavors and new flavor combos. And seriously...the best ice around! Get some cheap gas at Bubba's (currently $3.34/gallon for unleaded) and then come see us. Support local businesses if you want to keep them around and tell your friends, too! I know there is a new, fancy Texaco next door and I'm not hatin', but I am a little bummed about it stealing some biz. Hope to see you soon!

Opening Day 2012

In true Blizzy fashion, we like to cut it as close as we can and get everything ready at the last minute.  We got inspected last week (passed, of course!), leveled it back into position last night, hung up signs today, got a new open sign minutes before opening, and stocked syrups on shelves right before turning on the open sign!  But, also in true fashion, it ALL came together!  We've had a fairly steady flow of customers today and are in the test kitchen trying out new flavor combos.  I'm thinking banana split...banana, strawberry, and our new chocolate flavor, topped off with cream!  YUM.  Today's special is Red, White, and Blue (Strawberry, Coconut, and Blue Raspberry).  Specials are always $2 for a Medium.  Come on by - we can't wait to see your faces this summer.
